FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: What happens at my free consultation?

A: I will come to your home to meet with you and your pet(s).  We will discuss the services you are requesting as well as your pet(s)’s needs, such as their feeding schedule(s), medication(s), walking schedule(s), etc. Some paperwork will need to be completed and payment will be collected.  At this time, I will also pick up the key to your home.    

Q: What happens in the event of an emergency?

A: If any unforeseen emergency should arise, you will be contacted immediately at the emergency telephone number you have provided me with.  I will get further direction from you and proceed accordingly. If the emergency is with your pet(s) and the situation warrants immediate attention, your vet and/or an emergency facility will be contacted immediately. Your pet(s) will come first.  Once your pet(s) has/have been cared for you will then be contacted.  

Q: How and when do I pay?

A: Payment will be due at the time of contract unless other arrangements have been made.  Returning clients may be billed accordingly. Cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express are accepted. 

Q: What if I want to request additional services while I am away?

A: If you later decide that you would like to add additional services, such as taking your pet(s) to the groomers, etc., please contact me via email or telephone.  I will be more than happy to accommodate your needs. Payment for additional services will be added to your final invoice.

Q: What happens to my key once it’s in your possession and when I no longer need your services?

A: Your key will be placed in a secured locked box.  The key to this box will remain in my possession at all times. Upon your request, your key will be returned to you.  If an additional trip is made to return your key, there will be a $15.00 service fee.    

Q: How will I know my property and/or pet(s) is/are ok while I’m away?

A: If you choose, a daily Report Card will be provided.  You may receive this Report Card by fax or email. For clients not leaving town, a Report Card may be left in the home.
